Sunday School Lesson for the Week of February 14th, 2021

Hello Everyone,

Another name for God is Soul… and that is the title of the Lesson Sermon for this week.

In the Bible section Psalm 103 says,”Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

Soul: Beauty and joy. Have you ever heard a musician who plays soulfully? He is playing from his heart and expressing God. The music he plays sounds wonderful.

Have you ever seen a beautiful flower? The flower is expressing the beauty of Soul. How about the beauty of a winter’s snowfall? We can see His beauty and joy all around us. God has made everything beautiful and joyful! You are beautiful and joyful!

Benefit: an act of kindness, something given for your use or happiness, doing good. Remember to thank God for His wonderful benefits of beauty and joy!

On Sunday we will talk about how we can express God’s joy and His beauty and how we can see it all around us each day.
