Sunday School Lesson for the week of March 13th, 2022

Hello Everyone,

In the Lesson – Sermon SUBSTANCE this week it talks about God’s love, protection and filling ALL your needs. The Bible stories tell of God supplying money, food, and water. In each case human needs were met and this is called supply. In the Old Testament Psalm 23 talks about God being our Shepherd just like a shepherd takes care of his/her sheep. In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy has provided Psalm 23 with divine Love as our shepherd:

[Divine love] is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[Love] maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
[love] leadeth me beside the still waters.
[Love] restoreth my soul [spiritual sense]: [love] leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for [love] is with me; [love’s] rod and [love’s] staff they comfort me.
[Love] prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: [love] anointeth my head with oil; my runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house [the consciousness] of [love] for ever.

Remember to pray and give thanks to your heavenly Shepherd for always loving you by supplying all your human needs … this is called gratitude.
